Over the past however many years the Major League Baseball (MLB) has really struggled after the strikes, crazy contracts, and poor fan involvement. MLB has lost major market-share to the NFL and the NBA, resulting in millions of dollars.  So, when I saw that the MLB has launched www.mlblogs.com I was shocked in a great way. WAY TO GO MLB!

I think this is a great move for MLB and its fans. I hope to see many of the major leaguers hopping on the blogging bandwagon and seeing the fanbase of MLB coming back.  Heck, if Tommy Lasorda can blog, why can’t Alex Rodriguez, Roger Clemens, and John Smoltz?
