Leading vs. Managing
Lisa Haneberg at Management Craft pointed me to an article called, Leading vs. Managing -- They're Two Different Animals.
The article has some good and even great points, and Lisa has her own great points. I would tend to fall on Lisa's side on this, I think that too many people view "leadership" as a hip and cool new term for management. I like to focus on leading or managing using our strengths and focusing on being as effective as we can be.
