SxSW: Web Design 2010

A huge turn out to this session. Every chair is packed, people sitting on the floor and the back of the room is full with people standing. I will take this opportunity to give a shout out to SxSW. Guys, your room selection is not very good... Some small rooms packed, some large rooms empty. Lets try and leverage technology to solve this problem for next year.

Ok, I got that off my chest. This session was good, but I struggle with this type of conversation because is it “theory” and unknown. Don’t get me wrong, I am a futurist at heart, but there was a little to much unknown discussed. I did find it funny that Doug Bowman is an extreme futurist, much more than myself, and Dave Shea being the very conservative on the panel.  I think I found myself falling in agreement with Eris Free most of the time! I am still trying to find the take home from this session.
