iPod Cell Phone?
Could this be the story that breaks the iPod phone with a web interface? Or maybe the wireless iPod with a browser and Satellite radio built in? It could be just around the corner.
Nokia Corp. on Monday said it is working with Apple Computer Inc. in developing an open-source web browser for advanced cellular phones.
The browser is expected to be available to licensees of Nokia's Series 60 Platform in the first half of next year. The software uses the same open-source components, WebCore and JavaScriptCore, that are found in Apple's Safari web browser, which ships with Mac computers.
