Horrible audio at the FedEx Orange Bowl Half-time Show

As I sit here and watch the half time show for the FedEx Orange Bowl and see how horrible the audio for video mix is I wonder... Did they purposefully make all the mistakes, make is sound so bad, and cut it in and out to prove that it was live? Just a thought. Wow, that was horrible, and the crowd actually booed at the end.
