01-04-2020 Ephesians‬ ‭3:20‬

Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.
— EPHESIANS 3:30 TPT

I have never really claimed a verse as my favorite verse, or my life verse, etc. However, if I did Ephesians 3:20 would be at the top of the list. The language, expression, energy and vision is electric and inspiring. Let’s take a look.

Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this.

Why did Paul say never doubt? For sure because they did, and we do so regularly with our attitudes, mindsets and actions. Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all of this. We have to stop right there, and ask that is all of this? To know, we have to back up and grab the context of this that starts a few verses before.

“And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:16-19‬ ‭TPT

Wow! Just take a moment and try and take that in. I think we could spend weeks trying to unpack and process all this...literally weeks. But take just a moment and let God speak, what jumps out to you? What speaks to you in the moment you are going though? This was Pauls seeped and most intimate prayer for the church of Ephesus. We can read this as a prayer for us! I absolutely love what my friend Mark Batterson wrote in my YouVersion Bible Plan this morning.

God wants to bless you beyond your ability to ask or imagine. What is the blessing of God? It’s God—God with us, God for us, God in us. To reduce it to anything less dishonors God and devalues the blessing. God with us is joy unspeakable and the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). God for us is His favor, the X factor between the best we can do and the best God can do. And God in us is power, resurrection power.

This is a mindset we all must embrace and adopt. God wants to bless you beyond your ability to ask or imagine. Believe it, and step into your life receiving that blessing. God will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all!
