Hebrews 13 - United with Jesus
Hebrews 13 - United with Jesus
Hebrews 13 closes with this powerful blessing and prayer. I would like to start here;
“Now may the God who brought us peace by raising from the dead our Lord Jesus Christ so that he would be the Great Shepherd of his flock; and by the power of the blood of the eternal covenant may he work perfection into every part of you giving you all that you need to fulfill your destiny. And may he express through you all that is excellent and pleasing to him through your life-union with Jesus the Anointed One who is to receive all glory forever! Amen!” - Hebrews 13:20-21 TPT
What a blessing, what a prayer for us to rest in and pray ourselves. May Jesus work perfection into every part of us, giving us all that we need to fulfill our destiny. Yes and Amen!
And may he express through you all that is excellent and pleasing to him through your life-union with Jesus the Anointed One. Life-union, united, one with God through Jesus. Yes and Amen.
All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.
God is love.
His love is always good.
He looks like Jesus.
As we walk this out, as Jesus works perfection into every part of us may we remember;
“No matter what, make room in your heart to love every believer.” - Hebrews 13:1 TPT
Love God
Love Others
As we walk in union with God, as we are fulfilling our destiny set before us by God may we remember to;
“Honor the sanctity of marriage and keep your vows of purity to one another...” - Hebrews 13:4 TPT
As we are becoming more like Jesus every day, may we model generosity, and live the abundant life the God has set before us;
“Don’t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have, for you always have God’s presence...” - Hebrews 13:5 TPT
God is Good
All the Time
As we step into our day, may we remember the heroes of the faith, the leaders who modeled Jesus in our lives, may we honor them and be great followers before we focus on leading.
“Don’t forget the example of your spiritual leaders who have spoken God’s messages to you, take a close look at how their lives ended, and then follow their walk of faith.” - Hebrews 13:7 TPT
As we close out Hebrews, let us rest in this;
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” - Hebrews 13:8 ESV
